Before we start

Even though I normally shoot RAW and edit later in Lightroom, I started playing around with Fujifilm recipes after getting the new X100VI, and I have reached a point where I am now happy with the results straight out of the camera 90% of the time.

I developed this recipe, which is now my go-to Fujifilm recipe for Travel & Street Photography, with the idea of saving time in editing, getting as close as possible to the warm and contrasted look I want to achieve in my photos. For this reason, it has been created to be versatile and fit well for pictures taken in an urban context during daylight, with no intention to emulate a specific film look. I haven't really tried it for portraits or during the night, but it is great for travel and street photography.

It was developed on the Fujifilm X100VI using the latest firmware, and the only edits made were cropping and adjusting exposure when needed.

Finally, just a small disclaimer on clarity setting: even if -2 or even -3 would look better in my opinion, it is well known that shifting it away from 0 strongly affects the time needed for the camera to process images. Given that this is a limitation when shooting moving subjects, I decided to keep it at 0.
